An exciting week in boring brief.

Sorry about my nine day nap!

I've been very busy for the past few days, coping with Math CCT and Social Studies CCT and whatever bullshit that has been thrown at me so far.

Funny thing my math teacher Ms Yew said about our math syllabus, with regard to the difficulty of the test papers.
"Actually, you boys are so pampered that you think your questions are very difficult, but when you go out, you can see that a lot of other schools, even government schools, have much harder test papers!"

Funny thing Jing Xian replied.
"Then we come here for what?"

Haha okay it was funny in math lesson and in that context, but I don't know if you will find it so.

Alright but anyway the past week sped past in a blur. Last week was ORA Day. The most boring ever, I swear. What a waste of my time, and not worth elaborating upon. (Just that we played basketball with some RGS PE teachers and some RI old boys and I scored an awesome seven out of ten three pointers. Hurray.)

On the weekdays I either studied, slept, had rehearsal or went to watch rugby(on Monday). Friday we had NAPFA trials! I am so pleased that I'm going to get to keep my Gold. I just hope I don't get stitches running the 2.4 kilometres. I think as long as that doesn't happen, life should be good and I should be able to get somewhere around 28 points, out of the 30, which is pretty good considering I haven't been training because of rehearsals and all.

Anyway I was looking forward pretty much to this weekend because Friday night I could finally get out for RGS Rhythmic Gymnastics Concert(Masquerade) and Saturday morning(this morning) I went to "extra" around at SCGS carnival in the morning with Boon Tiong and badminton friends and Yisin.

But that was it. Saturday afternoon it was back to rehearsal. I got home just two hours ago, in fact, from rehearsal.

Friday night is going to be one of the nights that will be quite hard to forget. A bunch of us guys from 4F and Yuda threw a surprise birthday party for Claire who was actually performing for Masquerade on her birthday. And the funny thing is that only me and Yuda and Zebedee actually know Claire beforehand. And then there was some elaborate plan and all on how to surprise her and blah blah. Pretty cool. Have to get the pictures soon though.

I'm going botak tomorrow!

If Guan Wei doesn't pangseh, we both will be durian-heads tomorrow and by Tuesday, me, Guan Wei, Boon Tiong, and Teo Hong will all be durian-heads. We will all have joined Chen Shaowei in his Happy Land of Pen Spinning and Having No Hair.

Boring photos are better than boring text.

Seems like I can't go for rugby match support anymore because I'll have rehearsal. I think. And Mr Eng had to say today that CCA groups training for competition and performances do not need to go down for match support. So there goes my chances.

Sorry Jason and Shao Chun, can't bring posters already.

Anyway last few days were pretty cool!

I found this cool vandalised poster on the notice board of the school library. Amusing.

In the physics lab, Teo Hong and Nikhil were playing with the meter rule. And then they stuck it in their stomachs and tried to coordinate their breathing. Teo Hong calls it "racial harmony".
And our campus is super romantic at night. I found a few boarder couples doing *ahem* stuff in some of the little dark corners of the school. Won't say where, though.

Yisin's place. The white little CD-player is actually a personal computer. And the 42' plasma TV is the monitor. And this is in Yisin's room. In front of his bed. Damn you Yisin.

Today it stormed, and the place near RJC's bus stop became some sort of wetland. I don't take geography, so pardon me if it's wrong, but, I think this warrants some complaint. To, err, whatever ministry. And there were small tadpoles in the water! Kidding.

Sorry for the super boring post. (I should put this at the end of every blog post though hahaha)

Long time no see!

Hey fellas!

Sorry about the three-day delay. It just happened that the past two days I just couldn't really be bothered to blog or whatever. There were too many things going on, and everytime I came home, I just felt like sleeping (or playing Crisis Core). Goodbye to me, hello to dwindling blog hits.

Anyway, let's see what has been going on in my very interesting life.

Thursday, I survived physics quiz. Then I went to swim for swimming carnival, in the 200m breaststroke event. For the unintiated, the 200m is a pretty long event. Although you might say it's only four laps, when you're a lousy swimmer who can't swim really fast and you're trying very hard to speed through those four laps, those four laps suddenly become very, very, very long.

When I recovered from the lack of blood going to my head after I got out of the pool, I waited for the blood to go back into my legs. I tell you, I never felt this tired in my life. Go ahead and laugh at me. Hahaha.

Friday there was Raffles Players rehearsal after school again. It ended early at 630.

Saturday there was Raffles Players rehearsal at 230. Went to catch Pinnochio's Complex at night, at the National Library. Sorry but it made me go "Whaddafuck?" at the end. Sorry.

Today I headed to Daniel's place(I think I've been there thirty-plus times) to do our damn Chinese project due in three weeks. We settled on a topic, and so we're doing a CHINESE "biography" thingie on a SLOVAKIAN tennis player called Daniela Hantuchova.

She's damn hot. And she kind of looks like Emma Watson in this picture. See, Chinese can be fun!

Edit: Removed the picture because I'm getting like, hundreds of hits from people searching her name on Google. So don't want to make them come to my blog for one silly picture. See, my sacrifice for the good of people from France, United Kingdom, United States, Belgium, Canada, Netherlands, and 26 other countries.

Time to stop walking and start running.

What I need to do for tonight and Learning Journey Day tomorrow:
  • Physics Worksheet
  • Study for Physics test on Thursday (for your information, I don't have the very SLIGHTEST clue about what is going on for physics right now and a month ago.)
  • Start studying for Mathematics Class Common Test on the 14th April
  • Memorise my script for English speech by Thursday
  • Start doing my Chinese 专题作业 which is due 28th April

It doesn't seem that bad right now but I can guarantee it will. Anyway, you should not be bothered with my stupid academic pursuits.

The whole of April is going to be pretty packed as well.

  • 11th April Inter-House Science Challenge
  • 12th April ORA Walk-a-Jogathon
  • 14th April Rugby Finals (hopefully!)
  • 19th April SCGS carnival
  • 18th/19th April RGS Rhythmic Gymnastics Concert
  • 25th/26th April Raffles Players Production
  • 25th April House/Swimming Carnival

I cannot go for all. I might go for some. Add to that Raffles Players practices every Saturday afternoon till night and on normal CCA days and other miscellaneous stuff like project meetings, basically my youth is gone. When I get out of April, I'll be going to dye my hair back to it's original shade of black. Because I know by then it's going to be white.

Wait! I won't have much hair then. (refer to previous article)

AND AND AND.

For all you PSP modders and addicts, help me out! I upgraded to 3.90 M33 yesterday and my XMB music player and picture viewer is gone! And I used someone else's memory stick with files in them and they couldnt be detected either. My PSP is a PSP-FAT. Also after moving to 3.90, CXMB finally works but when it is enabled, my games hang when they start. To solve all the above problems, I reformatted my memory stick with the 3.90 firmware, and put in more files. The music and pictures still would not be detected.

My PSP is **ckedddddddddddddddddd la why me why me!

AND AND AND.

Today interclass soccer wasn't bad! We beat 4M two-nil. Class with the awesome Alimi, super Said, nasty Nicholas, and sneaky Shannon. And whoever else la. Only Nicholas played. So yeah we won. And me, Elias the Lobster(couldn't think of anything else that starts with E and fits me.) had a grand total of one save! And it is his first save throughout the season! And he has played three matches! And he has conceded no goals!

This goes to show that, the 4F soccer team has been defending very well. They have no need for a goalkeeper like me. I will step down and let Nikhil the Srinivas play the rest of the matches once he stops running off for his cricket training.

(That above portion had nothing to do with my ego! Honest. After all, it was only one save.)

Back to school.

Second time I'm talking about going back to school in two weeks.

But now, we really start school for real, and it only gets tougher from here on. Today was crazy. And I am not going to tell you why it was crazy, because I do not want to wallow in self-pity.

Oh and I think chem lessons with Mrs Kua are really good. She's an awesome teacher. I was holding my piss till the end of the lesson so I wouldn't miss anything, and when the lesson was finally over, I ran to the toilet and took 95748466 minutes to relieve myself. See what I sacrifice for good grades!

By the way, I have some shocking news for you.
If I've been talking to you pretty much recently, or if you're a good friend, or if you're part of the thing itself, you should already know.

If not, I will tell you now.

I AM GOING TO BE BALD IN 3 WEEKS.
AGHHHH.

):

Raffles Players is doing Army Daze and I'm acting as one of the recruits. So obviously it would be necessary for me to shave.

People who think I look old are gonna really think I look like an army boy. And I bet I'll look like a monkey with a crew cut. Skinny people all look like monkeys when they've got no hair to add volume to their heads. (eg Lennie in secondary 2)

If you hate me, go ahead and gloat. ):
