E-learning, Final Fantasy and Flies

I finally found the time to blog.
Not that I've finished my E-learning or whatever. I'm still left with Chinese which I will finish tomorrow. At this time of the day, I'm not exactly at my best productivity wise.

Messenger is screwed tonight(this morning). I couldn't log in, and I've been trying since around 9pm. Sigh, Microsoft. Sigh, MSN.

Alright so anyway!

FINAL FANTASY CRISIS CORE :D :D
I am SOOOO totally into the Final Fantasy mood right now. If you haven't heard of Final Fantasy, you must be Mas Selamat. (hurhurhur) That's Zack Fair and his so-super-hot-and-pretty-she-cannot-exist-in-real-life-wait-she-doesnt-exist sweetheart Aerith.

Brand new Final Fantasy is out, and so far I've been playing and it is SOOO super awesome. It blows me away. It captivates me. It's gorgeous.

I'm addicted.

Maybe not addicted, but I think about playing it quite a lot. Although I actually haven't played it the last two days, because I WAS FOCUSING ON COMPLETING MY E-LEARNING! Three cheers for me! How's that. I even pangseh-ed my class for two of their interclass games to stay home and finish my E-learning on Thursday. (They lost them both.)

Back to Final Fantasy!

I hope you know what's an RPG. It's called a role-playing game. It lets us geeks who only play games get to keep cool hair like Zack(right), get a hot girl like Aerith, and stuff.

And Final Fantasy is usually more of a story than a game. That's what most reviews say online anyway. In my opinion? It's the ultimate romance/action/thriller story for the geeky. That's for me. Ho.

I was spam-listening to the Crisis Core soundtrack for the whole of Thursday while E-learning. There are like 50+ tracks, and I think the playlist repeated almost ten times. Somehow, when I listen to the Final Fantasy soundtracks, I get this nice feeling. It's like chocolate. It's very nice. Someone tell me why!

WHILE WORKING HARD FOR E-LEARNING...

Attack of the bugs.

Does this fella look like some mean bug? The stuff at his tail looks rather scary. I used the curtains to squash him. (He was running along my windowsill) Maybe he's a she! I didn't check.

But I found this guy rather late in the night. All throughout the day, I had one million flies flying through my window and buzzing around for no apparent reason at all (I bathed). And they're all types of flies. I get houseflies, small little black flies that hover, small little brown flies that fly like The Monkey God, and funny green-coloured flies.

The assault of the flies continued throughout the day, and carried over to yesterday and today. In fact, believe you me, I am still getting harassed now. Because my window is facing the back alley and few other lights are on out there at a time like this, all the flies come and fly around my fuzzy warm light. (I already bathed damn you)

Okay actually I have nothing much else to say about E-learning. It's already quite a lot for a day that I stay at home and just whack work and work.

And someone was pretty pissed off with me today. Please don't be.

You know, if God doesn't just give me what I want, I don't always turn my back on him for it. I'm not a fighter when it comes down to this. It's up to you.

(& I won't vilify myself for your sake. This is the way I read you. You might think different.)

Back to school.

And here ends e-Learning, and we go back to school.

I have so much absolutely random stuff to blog about now but I don't have the time. Check back soon! And I never imagined that I could have an eventful day trying to finish my homework.

I cannot finish it, even now. Which is why I have no time.
Thank you for checking, though. I'll be back with more when I've done up the enormous backlog of work.

Good night!

Alert: Boring post.

E-learning, again.

Which is the reason why I have so much time to blog. I've been blogging everyday for the past few days of E-learning, even though it's not really about interesting stuff.

Funorama this Saturday! And I cannot go, because it so happens to be my grandfather's one-year death anniversary and I have to be present at some Taoist ritual. Fate hates me.

I have work for nine subjects for E-learning and as of now, I have completed three, which are probably the easiest ones of the whole lot. That leaves me with the rest for tomorrow, as well as me having to study for Maths TA on Monday and Maths CCT two Mondays away.

Sorry about the boring post. Life becomes drab and dull just about this period. I will brighten up my life when it feels like it's turning brighter. Hurhur. Goodnight.

I was supposed to be quite free today to start doing my work.

But alas, it was not to be so.

I woke up at around 730 to go to school for inter-class soccer tournament today, for which 4F's match was supposed to be held at 1030 if I'm not wrong.

It wasn't held at 1030 though; it was held at about 1130. Slightly earlier than 1130. Which meant the sun was already very high up in the sky. Which in turn meant that the weather was sweltering. It wasn't being very friendly. And the worst part is, I'm the goalie. So if no balls come to me, I stand around and get baked. You don't really notice it very much if you're running around kicking people's balls (I meant the ball). So because I was baked today, I am a nice shade of blush.

So, after the match (we won 1-0), I headed home because I was feeling hungry and thirsty and dirty and sleepy and weary and lazy. So I got home at almost 1. Had a nice bath, and then booted up the computer in an attempt to check the e-learning work.

Best part is, I took down all the work. But I still haven't started on anything.

Then I was supposed to go down to Singapore Basketball Centre at 430pm to watch the RGS-Nanyang game with Ryan and Ben. I left my home at 405pm, intending to take a nice, leisurely stroll down to SBC. I wasn't even sure of exactly how long I would take to get there if I walked, but I asked my brother and he told me 15 minutes on foot.

What a mistake. Reasons?

First, the weather still didn't let up on me. I got even redder.

Second, construction was going on all over Paya Lebar MRT. I had to make multiple detours.

Third, the whole walk of 3.2 kilometres took me 25 minutes. I arrived in time to watch the first quarter end.

But either way the match did not disappoint. Nanyang only managed to win in double overtime! How exciting. Do not feel like elaborating though, will be long and draggy.

Oh and I got home at around 7. Because of the double overtime.

Then I figured I had to start looking for my keys which I couldn't find this morning when heading off to school. I spent a good hour attempting to sweep my house but to no avail. And then my mom goes and finds it in the bag I brought out yesterday, which is coincidentally, the very first place that I looked.

Feel like a loser.
Before I know it, I'm here blogging.

So where did all my time go? I really thought I wasn't all that busy today.

I shall just call it a new experience.

YEAH BUCKLEY HAS OWNED AND WE TOTALLY OWNED TRACK AND FIELD TODAY, WE PWNZORS.

www.blogbuckley.blogspot.com for more details!

And cool part is after so much of the cheering and making noise (of course, for sec fours this refers to exco members only) and being burnt in the sun, we got a free meal courtesy of Ms Cho. Wooo. Pastamania ftw thanks ma'am!

Soon after, I headed down to Kallang Netball Center where Amanda told me she was playing PLMGS today. And to tell you the truth, I have never been to the netball center, I have not looked it up, and I have only seen the place when my dad drives past. And I didn't even know if it would be the right one.

So today, I headed home, changed and bathed and took the bus down to Old Airport Road. Then I walked in the general direction I thought the netball place was. And it really was! I am so awesome, I must say. And it was right next to the tennis center and squash center. I walked into the netball center and ALL I see are schoolgirls in netball jerseys, and I frantically look around for another guy, but to no avail. AH.

I had to go calm myself down and bring my state of mind back into it's original balance of Yin and Yang (and not all Yang, haha!). So I retreated to the squash center and found a MEN's toilet. HA. And Raffles Squash was at the squash center too! Was surprised. I saw Michael, Jonathan and Timothy and whatshisname. And I saw Li Fang! Have not seen her since, sometime last year, at 6/1 '04 class gathering, I think.

And so I headed back to watch the match, right after it started. I think I sort of understand the technicalities of the game already. A little. Was still the only guy there, except for this middle-aged guy who I think was one of the player's dads. But Nan Hua won, yay for Amanda!

Then I met Chowler during halftime. And he knows Teo Hong and Sng Yi. Woah. Coooool. Such a small world. Then we chatted quite a little.

Oh then I left after the match ended. HAHA. I really left almost immediately after it ended! After saying goodbye.

Oh and the place is super near my house. Now I have a 15-minute bus ride whenever I need to go to the Indoor Stadium or anywhere around there.

Okay so I went home and I FILED MY BIO FILE. Come on three cheers for me!

My weekends are routine even on a non-routine week.

If you know me well, you would know that I cannot leave my house to go hang out and catch cool friends to go watch cool movies and shop for cool stuff on Sundays, because every Sunday is routinely Family Day.

If you know me even best, you would also know that every Saturday of mine is usually spent at my Grandma's, except for special occasions like birthdays or whatnot.

So even though I have no school next week, which is absolutely non-routine, my weekend (or rather my Saturday, because today is Sunday and it isn't over yet) was so routine that it nearly killed me. And here's the special thing-a routine Saturday/Sunday for me has no studying! Alright.

Then again, if I were to say that, it would mean I haven't had routine weekends for a long long time. So be happy for me!

A'ight, I watched the Denver-New Jersey match yesterday because my cousin has cable TV. And it was the first time i got bored of alley-oops because both sides just did them over and over. Law of diminishing return. Then there was the Taiwanese elections shown on TV live as well. And then my aunties and uncles were like, both the winning party and the losing party cries. Such losers. Haha!

And today where I went for lunch there was this Indian foodstall. I forgot it's name, but it had a very cool tagline. It went like, "xyz abc foodstall: Just Do Eat". So cool.

DO-RAY-ME-BEER by Homer Simpson

You HAVE to sing this to get the full effect.

Super free Friday.

Today, i felt great.

As in, when compared to yesterday. Amusingly, yesterday i went to bed only at around midnight, with a 38 degree fever and a headache. This morning, I woke up with no fever, no headache, and feeling totally superb and normal. Okay, normal. AND i woke up at 8 A.M on a public holiday after just recovering from a fever. How cool is that.

Crisis Core English releases in four days!

And for the next six days i have no actual school. So awesome. I wonder if I've already talked about this in the previous post. But no matter. I'm going to start studying for the Math Topical Assignment next Monday. May the Force be with me. (I'm playing Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy on my computer now, and it's a 2003 game. Superb computer.)

Darth Vader has a sense of humour.

Awesome. Seriously, especially if you've watched Star Wars.

Sick in my head. No, really.

I am sick.

Which is the ENTIRE reason why I'm not going for Community Day today. I’m not ponning, mind you people, but I am really sick.

Funny though that I woke up as usual today at 0530 in the morning, showered, did my stuff as usual, and then went to get breakfast. Then I felt a headache, so I took my thermometer and measured my temperature. It turned out to be about 38 degrees.

If you read all that, you must love me and my blog so much :D

But why sick in he head? Kind of, because it is my forehead that is hot. Wahaha. Not funny. I was doing pull-ups yesterday and then when I grit my teeth, there was this sudden sharp pain in my ear. I thought my eardrum burst or something.

So I just went to sleep and then woke up the next morning, and every time I grit my teeth, it (my ear and head) would hurt like someone just took a medicine ball and threw it at your face, then stepped on your fingers and threw you down from the ninth storey while you were covered in mosquito netting.

Okay, not ninth, fifth.

So I thought it was an ear infection when I had a fever this morning. Headed over to the doctor’s opposite, just to be safe. Then she told me it’s some temporal lock joint or something yadayada blahblah that just screwed up so it’s very painful, only when you grit. Ahhh okay. Anyway the pain miraculously disappeared around the time I went to see the doctor. Funny, eh. Was still feverish though.

But but but a fever is not going to kill a super incredible iron man like me! I still watched four hours of TV after I got back from the doc’s. And I finished the My Girl series. Hurray.

The only thing that makes the next seven school-less days seem more and more ominous is the already piled-high stack of work, and more to come. Wish me a lot (a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot) of luck.

Thanks. "Good luck will come your way!" :D

Just a filler.

Yeah, just a filler. I need to fill up the big big bigggg blank space in my blog because it only has two posts now. So this is, as i said, just a filler.

Okay anyway, term is getting hectic already. The tests are coming, the work is piling, and it's week one. But hey, you wouldn't be interested, would you?

I am not. And I am pissed. Because I know I have all this work, but we're going to have somewhat of a week-long holiday for elearning/ilearning/saikang, and I can't do fun stuff. So it feels like, how do you put it, being given a useless gift. Okay it's not a gift. And it feels like, urgh. Yeah, just urgh.

And, Raffles Players practices are stepping up now that it's five weeks from production. Okay, but today's was a lot more productive than the previous few, and I appreciate that, absolutely. No offence to any of you who might be reading this, but i find absolutely no point in all your warmups and stretching for hours before rehearsals. I just had to say that out, so don't piss on me or what. I'll still do what I'm told to, though.

And you, please get out of my head. It's distracting, tiring, and it irritates me. Especially when i have all this stupid work to do that i cannot neglect. Pretty pretty please?

More reason to cook up about why i'm back

After setting up this silly blog yesterday, out of a random boredom attack, i went to read my old posts from secondary two. And it was kind of, "Haha." As in, the kind of "Haha" when you laugh in your head alone and it doesn't come out because it's not funny enough for it to come out verbally.

So, what does this have to do with why I'm back? For one, after reading all my old posts, it was incredibly nostalgic. And I remember that secondary two was one of the best years of my life (the later half especially). So was secondary three(even better than secondary two) but what now? It's gone, like, phew!, and then I have no record of it, no journal of the stupidest and coolest stuff that I might have done/wanted to do.

Damn.

See why it's cool to have a blog now? Of course, after a while I will get lazy to update. But at least I'll have a section of my extremely extremely extremely extremely extremely precious secondary four life down on paper(figure of speech), and i can reread it when I'm doing NS or when I takeover Microsoft as the CEO and say, wow, I was so cool back then. :D

Houyes.

Alright anyway the March holidays were not a blast. I hit Bangkok for four days with my family, and it was, unique, at least. I didn't really spend much, only around seventy bucks for a coupla' random barang-barang. The weather was soooo hot and humid it makes you feel like doing absolutely nothing and hang around like the ang mohs who in the night just sit around at the bars and drink beer in the ridiculously hot and humid weather with other fat angmoh friends and Thai girls. By the way, many many people go to Bangkok to really bang cock, from what I see around my hotel. My personal observation.

Will cut the long story short.

And so, I was back on Friday night. And my Saturday was spent lazing around, doing my philosophy presentation at the last minute(it's due Monday) and taking care of my brother, who was sick from (suspected) stomach flu.

Sunday was just a little short of a blazt. It was fun, though. Brandon had a hotel room at Marina Mandarin and so i went over to play Burnout Revenge with him and own his wheels, his ass, and his balls all in one race. Oh and he had a pass to Meritus Club, it is the cool. Free tidbits throughout the day! I spam Perrier Sparkling Water and realise it really sucks and makes you fart a lot. A lot a lot.

Okay that's enough for today. School's a' coming in nine hours. Egad!

Why the hell am i back?

This is a new blog.

I have no idea why i even created this. I predict it's going to be dead in a month, or somewhere around the time where the work and tests start heating up.

Sean keeps pressuring me!

Or maybe cause I'm trying to make my life exciting by making it look exciting on a blog.

Oh whatever. Anyway, I doubt I'm going to have a tagboard because it would just make miserable me more miserable having no one poopin on your tagboard. Haha! So just comment if you want. If you somehow find this entry. No one should, in any case, because the blog is in one dusty 'ole corner of the Internet.

Will find a skin, link some fellas, and blah blah in due time.

(OH DAMN I'M BLOGGING LIKE ZEB WHO TALKS ABOUT ALL THE BORING STUFF. I'M BORED MYSELF READING MY OWN BLOG POST)
